The Role

We are seeking a youthful and passionate film school instructor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of all stages of film production

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the Film school
• Create training plans, lesson plans, and session plans aligned with TVET/CDACC standards
• Create learning schedules to ensure that the curriculum is completed on time
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom, which supports students’ independent learning, collaboration and choice
• Utilize a variety of effective instructional and management techniques
• Provide a variety of assessments and use assessments for planning and instruction
• Assist students in understanding the process and input required for the student portfolio of evidence
• Provide consistent, immediate feedback to student learning
• Elicit students’ responses through analytical questioning
• Use available technology/instructional media to enhance the students’ learning experiences
• Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members by communicating in a tactful, courteous, and confidential manner
• Appropriately communicate and interact with other professional staff in academic planning
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and extra-curricular/school related activities
• Maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate behavior that is conscientious and responsible 
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Ensure that they receive TVET accreditation
• Commit to continuous professional growth.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in Film Production
• TVET accredited trainers will receive an added advantage
• Experience teaching film and video production, editing, cinematography techniques, photography, editing, and visual communication strategies proven with a strong portfolio
• Fluency in written and spoken English to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region
• Proficient with both MAC and PC platforms.
• Software knowledge required: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci resolve, Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency in the use of different cameras and filming gear
• Experience with web-based content management systems, video optimization and archival techniques
• Knowledge of the TVET/CDACC curriculum and other international curricula will be an added advantage
• Evidence of mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for course(s) taught

The Role

We are seeking bid-writing support to help us respond to new opportunities. The ideal candidate will deliver bidding excellence to secure a large variety of engaging work.

Responsibilities

• Proposal development including taking a hands-on role in developing, writing, editing, and formatting high-quality winning bids
• Search for Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and Long-Term Agreement (LTA) jobs online and submit bids
• Gain a deep understanding of potential clients’ needs, tender requirements, and business operations
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team in preparing written information on our experience, capabilities, and proposed project approach
• Ensure all proposals are proofread, meet tender program requirements, and align with our bid management standards
• Identify and engage with experts in the relevant field to find the best bidding methods
• Determine bid writing strategies and manage bid timetables, deadlines, necessary meetings effectively to ensure timely compelling submissions
• Manage bid submission process as necessary
• Helping to maintain and improve our answer repository on an ongoing basis
• Seek out feedback on unsuccessful bid/tenders to improve our bidding process
• Participate in the client onboarding process for successful tenders/bids

Ideal Profile

Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written French with excellent knowledge of French rules of syntax, grammar and punctuation to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region
•  Attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills
• Excellent time management skills and prioritization of tasks amongst multiple deadlines
• Evidence of producing high standard written documents on a consistent and time sensitive basis
• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and assimilate large volumes of information into comprehensive proposals
• Previous experience in a consultancy, procurement, writing or similar role, with a proven track record of writing high quality bids
• Experience or knowledge of Film Industry will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• The ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, video, and more)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills

The Role

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies and execution plans to promote HRCA’s “Middle-Aged and Elderly Empowerment Project” to both the social and commercial sectors
• Understand the needs of the social and commercial sectors and solicit their interest in taking part in HRCA’s age-friendly initiatives and activities
• Plan and organize talks, events, recruitment fairs etc.
