The NICMAR Board invites applications for the appointment of a Director General for a tenure of five years. The Director General serves as the Chief Executive Officer of NICMAR. This pivotal role provides strategic leadership, drives key institutional decisions, and oversees the operations of the Trust across all campuses and universities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the Trust's autonomous institutes and universities.
- Liaise with the Board of Trustees and the Board of Governors to fulfil the Trust's mission of nation-building through the Built Environment/CRIP (Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Project) sector.
The Candidate should be:
- An eminent academician and/or academic administrator with a proven track record of institutional building and strategic leadership.
- Possess extensive experience in academic administration for a group of universities and institutions in a leadership role within a Trust or Society environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of statutory compliance and financial management for Trusts, Societies, or similar institutions.
- Have experience in forging industry-academia partnerships at national and global levels to bridge talent gaps.
