Position Overview:
If you can write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code, we want you! As a Java Developer at F22 Labs, you’ll be responsible for developing high-performance, scalable applications using core Java and cutting-edge technologies like Spring, Hibernate, and microservices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications that scale.
- Collaborate with the design, product, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Build microservices-based architectures using modern tools and techniques.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to connect various services and systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure long-term quality.
- Develop and manage database interactions using Hibernate/JPA for efficient data persistence.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Stay current with the latest Java frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure every release is flawless and fully tested.
Mandatory Skills:
- Core Java (Java 8 or later) – Expertise in Java programming and understanding of object-oriented principles.
- SQL & Database Management – Strong experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
- Hibernate / JPA – Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JPA for ORM-based data persistence.
- RESTful APIs – In-depth knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Spring Framework – Solid expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
Good to Have Skills (Bonus Points!):
- Microservices Architecture – Experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications.
- Version Control – Familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Build Tools – Experience with Maven or Gradle for automated build processes.
- Unit Testing – Knowledge of JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.

- Possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in Workday Integrations and Workday Extend Platform.
- Support existing Integrations and Extend apps by resolving issues and enhancing to add new functionalities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Workday Extend and provide guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and developments using Integrations and Extend.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
- Utilize your business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for technical improvements.
- Work with colleagues across various domains to deliver results and take ownership of both individual and team outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Workday HCM and 2 years in Core Compensation is required.
- Hands-on experience in Advanced Compensation is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Good knowledge of HCM security.
- Basic understanding of Workday reporting and its relationship with HCM domain.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to establish relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Preferred Time zone: Crossover with Central European Time zone or Eastern Standard Time Zone.
