We're Hiring: Senior Data Engineer – Join Luxe Vision Consulting!
Are you a seasoned Data Engineer eager to collaborate with top U.S. companies? Luxe Vision Consulting is seeking a talented individual to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for our clients.
Position: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $1,500 - $3,000/month (negotiable based on experience)
Work Hours: Flexible (aligned with U.S. client time zones)
Preferred Candidate Locations:
We are currently prioritizing candidates based in Europe, Iran, Southeast Asia and Latin America due to client requirements and salary expectations. Unfortunately, we are not considering applications from other countries at this time. However, all other qualified applicants are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data needs and requirements.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data, including data cleansing and validation.
- Manage data storage systems and optimize them for performance and scalability.
- Implement data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improving data workflows.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior data engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and big data.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and database management systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Knowledge of data governance and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
